Remy for Slack privacy notice
Last updated: October 29, 2026
Remy for Slack is a Slack app provided by Corepass, Inc. (“Corepass,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This notice explains what Slack data the app can access, how that data is used, and the controls available to your organization.
This notice supplements the Corepass Privacy Policy. For what the app does and how to install it, see Remy for Slack.
What Remy for Slack is
Remy for Slack lets people in a Slack workspace hand tasks to Remy by mentioning @Remy in a channel or thread, or by messaging it directly. Remy does the work in a secure cloud sandbox and posts its progress and results back in the same conversation.
Remy for Slack is available to Remy organizations. Each Slack workspace is installed by a Slack workspace admin, through a link created by an Owner of the Remy organization.
Data the app can access
Remy can access the following only in the channels and direct messages it has been added to:
- Messages and threads, including the messages that mention it.
- Files and images shared in those conversations, including images posted with a request.
- Profile information of the members taking part in those conversations.
Remy does not read channels or direct messages it has not been added to.
How the data is used
- To do the work you ask Remy to do, and to reply in Slack.
- To decide when Remy can help in a conversation it has been added to. If a channel has been quiet for a while, Remy stops reading it and says so. Members can mute Remy in any channel or thread.
- To keep each channel’s notes and standing instructions, so Remy keeps the context and routines a team agreed on.
- To run routines that your team asked for, and to post them in the channel on schedule.
- To attribute usage and spend to your organization, a channel, or a member who linked their Remy account, under the spend limits your Owners set.
When your organization connects other services to Remy, such as GitHub, Remy uses those connections only within the access your Owners allow. How Remy processes prompts, files, code and information sent to service providers is covered by the Corepass Privacy Policy.
Model training
Slack data is never used to train models. This covers the messages, files, images and member profiles Remy can access in Slack, whatever your Remy organization’s model improvement setting is.
Your organization’s controls
Owners of your Remy organization can:
- Decide which Slack workspaces and channels Remy works in, and which connections, repositories, plugins and models it can use.
- Set monthly and per-channel spend limits.
- Turn direct messages with Remy on or off for the whole organization.
- Control each channel’s settings, notes and spend.
Removing Remy from a Slack workspace revokes its access to that workspace.
Retention and deletion
We retain and delete Slack data in line with the “Data retention” section of the Corepass Privacy Policy. To ask to access, correct or delete data, contact support@corepass.com, as described in “Your privacy rights and choices.”
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when Remy for Slack or its data practices change. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
